Lack of qualified employees in RE sector detected

As renewable energies sector keeps growing, green industries are noticing shortages of qualified employees hindering their development.

A recent landmark report has reviewed the emergency of a 'green economy'. It predicts that adaptation to climate change and emissions reduction schemes will create employment opportunities on a large scale.

However, the report also refers to the lack of qualified manpower detected by the sector. Germany's renewables industry is affected by this factor, suffering a shortage of qualified employees for highly skilled positions. Moreover, British green sector have also had difficulties to find technical specialists, designers, engineers and electricians.
